Question of the Day #61

A couple of friends and I are going hiking at Will Roger's State Park this morning. Trails hover over the city, offering views of the snowcapped San Bernadino mountains, downtown LA, midcity, all the way out to Malibu.

It's one of my favorite places to walk. Where's your favorite place to walk?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Ooh, that reminds me - it's time to take the dog out. We have a nice trail by the river.
A stroll around Paris would be nice, too.

  2. Torrey Pines State Reserve. Yeah, I've mentioned it before, but it rocks--especially on a day like today! (I just got home from there.)

  3. Paris sounds good to me!
I just back from snowshoeing on the vast trail.
Not exactly a stroll, though it was beautiful.

  4. I still love walking around Boston or any beach, especially all bundled up during the cooler weather.

  5. There's a great open space park thing near my home -- and my New Year's resolution (besides selling ALL of my clients' books!) is to take a dog for a walk every day, so I'm getting a lot of great use of it lately!

  6. "Hill" walking, and exploring the backroads of North Wales. I could do it until the day I die!

  7. There are so many great places to walk in NYC. Here in Queens, I have a couple of regular routes - my favorite is by the Bollywood theater. I have to get Jen to go with me someday. But honestly? When I was a kid I used to love walking, biking, etc. in Pleasant Valley Park in BR. I could walk those trails blindfolded.

  8. My favorite walk is usually on a beach in Hawaii or Tahiti, or hiking some hard core trails in Yellowstone.

  9. I love to walk in my neighborhood in the fall. It is very hilly so it provides a good workout. There are oak trees everywhere, so it is beautiful with the fall foliage.
