Question of the Day #1,001

You may recall last Summer when I complained, complained and complained about how cold and cloudy it was.

This Summer is the total opposite. Gorgeous. Sunny. Splended!

How does this Summer compare to your last Summer?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I have had a lot more fun this summer (more fun activities). But when it comes to weather - I would prefer last summer! I suppose because I lived with my parents last year and they had AC. I finally just got my AC last weekend and it has made such a change (for the better) in my place. I don't have to sweat all the time here! Yay! I hate the heat though ... :(

  2. This summer is sooo much cooler (in all ways) for me, as I moved from hot, smoggy inland back to the beach!

  3. Last summer was kissed with the sweet taste of new love. But I have to say, this year is also filled with a lot of love and optimism, just in a different context. I'm preparing for a move out of the country, so that makes me appreciate the present that much more deeply and anticipate the future with excitement.

And weather-wise, they have both been blazing hot.

  4. This summer I'm pregnant, last summer I was not. These two summers couldn't possibly be more opposite.

  5. It was really wet at first with record rainfalls, but now it is returning to normal: hot and humid. Last year was hot from the beginning of April onward. It was the summer that never ended.

  6. If I didn't live on a farm, I would say it's been gorgeous, if not a bit hot. But the heat and drought conditions we have here have not made for good growing conditions. And if the damn deer don't stay out of my garden how will we stay warm this winter?? We've never had so many bugs and varmints. It's enough to make you get out the shotgun and go ballistic!

  7. Well, my kids are a year older (duh LD) which translates to lugging less stuff and more age appropriate things to do!

  8. It started late, but it's been gorgeous lately. While everyone was complaining about the horrid heat, we've had some really beautiful days.
