I loved the Smurfs as a child. Watched it whenever it was on. But unless the kids beg to see it, I probably won't see the movie. But if we do, I'll be thankful Neil Patrick Harris is in it! How about you?
I grew up watching the Smurfs. I think the movie could be a little weird. I'm not a fan of bringing back old stuff for kids. Keep the old stuff retro, and enjoy it for what it was, and creating something new for today's kids.
I grew up watching the Smurfs and prefer to remember them as the Saturday cartoon they were meant to be. But if you don't have Smurfs history then it will probably be a cute movie.
I don't know much about Smurfs. Besides that the exist. That's all :p

Pessimistic. I'm too old to love Smurfs.

ReplyDeleteI embrace my inner-Smurf.
ReplyDeleteI might watch it when it gets to HBO.
