Question of the Day #1,004

Do you ever feel like you're starring in a movie about your own life?

I ask because some of my writer friends do feel that way. Almost Truman Show-like. Like cameras are around all the time.

Do you ever feel like that?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Sometimes I did as a teen, felt like I was acting in some kind of movie, a life that wasn't mine and yet was.

  2. No not at all. But it's a great way to look at your life and I just might start doing that.

  3. No, I never know what is going to happen next.
I like the fact, not many people know what is going on with me or that I don't share too much beyond this blog.

  4. Hmmmm...Sometimes I feel like I am a reporter, reporting on my life. I always seem to find the need to take notes when I do or see something interesting "just in case I need it."

  5. I think we are all the stars of our own life. We're the main character and everyone else has supporting roles. I've noticed that writers tend to frequently be observing or thinking about life as a story or how they'd write a particular moment in time, so it makes sense life always feel like they're in a movie. I don't feel like cameras are on me, but I do think about what the story of my life will look like or is looking like. We get to be the actor, director, and producer. Fun!

  6. Nah, not really. Maybe when I was a kid, but not now.

  8. Not really, but I have a few screenwriting ideas to snaz it up a little.
