Question of the Day #544

I've started drinking green tea. It's full of antioxidants and may prevent some cancers. So heck, I'm going for it. I've been drinking at least one or two cups a day for the last couple weeks and it seems like an easy way to do something healthy.

What healthy thing have you integrated into your daily routine?

Suzanne

  1. Love, love, love tea but must admit I should be drinking more green. Other healthy things - I no longer eat meat or poultry not because I don't like it or because I have gone green or I'm all about animal rights (although these are all very good reasons) I just plain don't like meat or poultry much anymore. I eat fish and shellfish which have fewer calories so fewer WW points. I also eat beans, eggs, milk, whole grains, fruits & veggies. And I have to say I just feel better since swearing off meats.

  2. I like green tea, too. I drink it hot in the winter occasionally. I like the Fuze Green Tea or White Tea drinks.
My healthy routines include exercising 3-5 times a week. I was eating much healthier for a few weeks, then fell off the wagon last week. I need to climb on again. I do feel better when I eat better. I just love what's bad for you (for example I had McD's for lunch today and loved every salty bite...)

  3. I've stopped eating meat, dairy & sugar (almost exclusively) and I feel great, have lost weight and am sleeping better than I have in years.

  4. Perhaps the question tomorrow should be 'what non-healthy thing have you integrated into your daily routine' because that would've been much easier to answer. :-)

  5. Well, it's not giving up sugar. At least, not lately.

I make a fairly healthy shake for breakfast. Have the recipe here.

  6. Eating real foods, rather than food products
    Choosing organic foods where possible
    Eating in moderation

  7. I've been doing 30 minutes of cardio kickboxing a day since saturday. I have no idea how long I'll be able to keep it up though. I tried green tea but it was too acid for me and I didn't like it with milk.

PS- You got a little suttin suttin waiting for you on my blog;)

  9. Gummi vitamins! I know it sounds childish, but the regular ones keep making me feel like I'm going to throw up. Not the gummis!
