Question of the Day #565

A few questions ago, Beck put her favorite quote in the comments, "Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference."

That quote used to sit, framed, on the dresser in her bedroom. Not only a mantra, but a piece of art.

Yesterday's question inspired a lot of stories about bravery.

When was the last time you felt you needed to be brave?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Wow. Tough one, actually. The most significant moment of bravery for me was about three years ago when after finishing my first draft, extremely rough version of a book I'd written, I thought it would be cool to have an editing party. With 50 people. The event was amazing - and still talked about today. But I recall with great clarity the moment I stood up in front of 50 people and let them tell me, with absolute honesty, what needed work.

  3. I agree that Dawn was incredibly brave on the personal front. Wow.
I'll have to think on this question. Not sure I am the bravest of the brave at all.

  4. Every day. I still have that quote prominently placed in my home. I see it & use it every day.

  6. Taking my husband to get his shoulder surgery and me trying to hold it together. He's the one having surgery, yet I'm the emotional wreck.

  7. When I had to put my cat to sleep. That always sucks.
