Question of the Day #289

It's Friday. You're sitting at your desk or working your job or doing whatever it is that you normally do on Friday. A magic genie pops up out of nowhere and says, "Hey, you! It's your lucky day. You get to go wherever you want to for the weekend. All expenses paid, with one guest. But you have to be back here, on time, Monday morning. So where do you want to go?"

I'd head to Cabo with H. Close enough that we could get back in time for Monday and hot enough that we could do nothing but laze on the beach and enjoy the scenery.

Who would you take on a free weekend jaunt and where would you go?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I think that Atlantis place I featured in yesterday's blog. That's MY choice! But it's just a dream. The furthest we'll go is the mall!

  2. Actually that happened once :) W and I were having dinner one Tuesday night looking ahead to the weekend and realizing that I had no weddings or big events AND then W says "Let's go to Bermuda!" Didn't have to twist my arm. I still remember that night. It probably was the most spontaneous big thing we have ever done! By Thursday we were on the beach :) But no genie paid the bill. It was worth it!

  3. I think I'd send the kids with the genie and just enjoy a peaceful weekend with the husband...

  8. Vegas. Either that or send my family away so I could have the house to myself all weekend.

  9. I'd probably hit a beach somewhere along Mexico's coast too... & I'd take Sarah. We never get to vacation together.
