I want a burger. It's that kind of day. So I'm going to Fatburger. It is what it sounds like. A fat burger. No thin patties that you have to search for between the buns.
Fatburgers are thick, delicious, juicy, loaded with cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and I pair mine up with delicious skinny fries. (They have fat fries too, but I'm into the skinny fries.)
When you're dying for a burger, where do you go?

Suzanne
I have never in my entire life been dying for a burger. Chicken sandwich maybe, and for that nothing beats Jackson Hole in NYC. Some colleagues took me to Fudruckers the other day because they were dying for a burger; I had the grilled tilapia.
ReplyDeleteA&W up on route 7 in Vt. The first time we went there they had waitresses on roller skates!!!who brought your food to the car. It was great! No more roller skates but the burgers are de.....s and the fries are double fried. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it:)
ReplyDeleteLogan's Roadhouse. I LOVE their steakburgers. We have a Fat Mo's here that's supposed to be fat burgers but they seem no different from regular burgers to me.
ReplyDeleteI don't crave burgers too much but when I get a hankerin' for fries and a vanilla Frosty from Wendy's... watch out!
ReplyDeleteHere in GA, when I crave a good burger (which is not that often), I make my own. In fact, last week I made a burger topped with brie, slices of pear and a garlic-ginger mayo...yum. Back in LA I would get a #3 (Western Bacon Cheeseburger) at Carl's Jr or a bacon, avocado, cheddar burger at Sonny McLean's...mmmmm - the best!!
ReplyDeleteOh and Evelyn, I have fond memories of the A&W on Rt. 7. Growing up, we would stop there on our way to our vacation home in Waterbury. Hmm, at least I think it was Rt. 7 :) xo
We just rediscovered the Whopper Jr. from Burger King. Not bad, and they're small enough that I can eat one occasionally without regretting it later.
ReplyDeleteI had a McD's burger today for lunch. But my fave is probably at a nearby restaurant (not a chain). I LOVE a good juicy burger!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Fatburger or In and Out here in the Midwest but when I visit AZ I make sure I have one there!
