I can't do math. Simple math. I stink at it. Dividing scrambles my brain. Multiplying makes me nuts. I barely made it through core Algebra and Geometry in high school. In college, thankfully, we artsy students didn't have to take a bunch of math courses - just one core course, for which I had to have my father tutor me.
But I enjoyed English and Literature and Writing and did pretty well with them. When you were in high school, what was your best subject?

Actually, any math was my strongest. :-)
ReplyDeleteArt, English, Marketing, and Phys Ed were tops with me both out of interest and grades.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, English. Also stunk at math and still do.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think I enjoy Cooking the most--I loved how it was nothing more than social hour with easy recipes.
ReplyDeleteEnglish!
ReplyDeleteEnglish and Humanities. Horrible at gym.
ReplyDeleteEnglish. And I was stuck with a horrible teacher sophomore and junior year, only to get the best teacher in the state my senior year so it was REALLY hard on me.
ReplyDeleteI did pretty well in all subjects, but my best subject might have been english or math. My hardest was chemistry!
ReplyDeleteMath, all kinds of math..... actually I considered majoring in math but D talked me out of it. Elementary ed was my degree. Interestingly though D taught me how to run a business. Plain and simple, D was great!
ReplyDeleteLife has many paths.
My creative side of the brain worked well with the other! who knew?
English, typing, psychology -- I did great in subjects like that, but then I'd goof off and fail tennis class. LOL! I didn't like getting all sweaty in the middle of the day ...
ReplyDeleteI didn't like maths and struggled to do the harder ones. But I enjoyed language and still do.
ReplyDeleteEnglish Lit and Science--though Physics was a bit of a drag.
ReplyDeleteArt. I was terrible at Math until one day, the light bulb just went on and it all clicked. Ever since then, I've had a freakish mind for numbers.
ReplyDeleteI was a math lover. I love math becasue it is right or wrong. I never cared for those other subjects which were subjective. You know the type; What was the author thinking when he wrote The Raven? I wanted to say how the heck do I know, I wasn't there. But who can argue with the pathagorean theorem? Got to love that math.
