Today, we're having our first Sunday pool day of the summer. That's right, on August 16th. It clearly took us a while to uphold one of our favorite Summer traditions.

We are only just getting to the beach this last week. It has been so cold, and rainy (actually rainy doesn't describe what we have experienced here with the flooding and all).
ReplyDeleteWith the warm beachy weather I am only now just inspired to start enjoying those summer food favorites: gazpacho, coleslaw, grilled corn on the cob, cold plates, and feasts of watermelon.
VACATION!!! My boyfriend just started a new job so it looks like I'm not going to get one this year. I may have to take a stay-cation in the fall.

ReplyDeleteA LOT! My kids start school in a week and a half and we haven't gone camping, kayaked at the lake or visited a museum! Somehow I don't think we'll fit it all in this year...
ReplyDeleteI usually create my kid's school yearbooks over the summer. I was late finishing the year before, so I haven't gotten to this one yet. I hope to do it soon. Enjoy the pool!

ReplyDeleteWe haven't done a backyard BBQ this year. It has been too hot. I think we will shoot for an oyster roast in the winter.
