Question of the Day #54

The Sound of Music aired on television last night and I watched it, start to finish, complete with ads for the "Trapp Family Lodge," starring Maria's actual grandson. (You gotta love Vermont.)

No matter where I am, it's a yearly ritual to forgo the TiVo and pay homage to one of my favorite things.

What movie will you watch on TV - commericals and all?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. The Sound of Music is definitely the one movie I can watch over and over and over! Nothing else comes close, but if I had to pick a second, I'd say When Harry Met sally.

  3. Moonstruck! Some of the lines from this movie have become family jokes!
    Like, "Why do men cheat?'
    "because they fear death."
    Classic.

  8. Ahh, the Sound of Music. You'd have to be a major grinch not to appreciate... for me? I guess it'd be Elf, too. I LOVE that movie. It's never, ever, ever less funny to me, even though I've seen it about five times.

  9. I love the Sound of Music. I know every word to every song. And Elf...omg, we watched that twice this Christmas! The kids love it and I can't help but laugh out loud. That is such a great movie!

  10. The Sound of Music is a good one. Been craving Love Actually lately, but that's only because the Benjamin Button commercials are using music from it.
