Question of the Day #1,006

"This is Aunt Suzie's room." I opened my eyes and saw my brother standing in the doorway holding my two year old niece.

"Hi schnookie," I said. I outstretched my arms.

Her daddy put her on the floor and she ran over to my bed.

"Wanna come up?" I asked.

"Yeah," she said.

I pulled her up into the bed.

"Tell Aunt Suzie what you want for breakfast," her Daddy said.

"Bacon and eggs," she said.

"Who's gonna make them for you?" Daddy asked.

She smiled at me, all rosy cheeked and cuddly in her pink jammies.

"Okay, I'm getting up," I said.

Who can you not say "no" to?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  2. That would be the same for me and my 23 yr old daughter! Wed morning she asked me to make her a bacon and egg sandwich while she got ready for work. I am secretly loving have her live at home again
