Question of the day #729

One of my friends is going to be the Mystery Reader at his daughter's first grade Halloween party and he's looking for book suggestions. Friends have suggested The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White and Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper.

Do any of you fabulous readers have any other suggestions?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. It's too young for 1st graders but my kids love Go Away, Big Green Monster by Ed Emberely. Okay, I think it's cool too. : )

  5. Mostly Monsterly by Tammi Sauer....It's a great book with wonderful illustrations. It's about a monster that has a kind caring heart and has to figure out how to relate to her "icky, monsterly" friends...it works for any time of year.....
