Sunday night, while out with friends, TY retold a friend's story about being circled by shark while surfing this summer.
"Screw that sport," said N. "I'll try anything in which I might kill myself. But leave it up to a shark? No way."
Everyone laughed as I began scribbling on a napkin.
What animal do you never want to come face to face with?
xoxo,

Shark definitely ranks high on the list. Bears, too. I've had minor run-ins with a few, but the prospect of a grizzly bear scares the freaking heck out of me! (and snakes...)
ReplyDeleteA stampeding rhino might be one, an angry grizzly might be another.
ReplyDeleteRoaches freak me out, of all things!
ReplyDeleteBut I think I'd be happy if I never encountered a shark or a bear, to be honest!
Grizzly bear more than anything. But if I lived in big cat country, I'd be petrified to face a tiger or leopard.
ReplyDeleteAnything that can eat me!
ReplyDeleteScorpions freak me out - even the ones that don't sting.
ReplyDeleteHuge spiders and snakes. I would also rather not meet a bear or jungle cat or shark.
ReplyDeleteEditors with big red rejected stamps in their hands.
ReplyDeleteA snake. I hate snakes. Of course, they do eat mice. And I hate them just as much, but still... don't want to face a snake.
ReplyDeleteGrizzly or polar bear, or any sort of large wild cat.
ReplyDeleteYep. A shark.
ReplyDeleteI would be unhappy running into any of the above. But a big ol' flock of eye-pecking, wing-batting, clawing, screeching, disease carrying birds creeps me out to all end.
ReplyDeleteGrizzly bear with her cubs. Or jellyfish.
ReplyDeleteGrizzly, definitely.
