Question of the Day #436

It's supposed to rain this weekend. That's a big deal here in So. Cal. It only happens a few times a year, so when it does, it's kind of a special occasion.

When it's stormy, I like to make soups, read and watch movies. What about you?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I like to wish it wasn't raining and storym ... because, here in the NW, it's not a special occasion! :-)

  2. We take the kids to indoor play areas, like the ones with a sea of balls and jump houses. Malls are the worse because in the rain - everyone is there...

  3. We're supposed to get rain this weekend too. I hope we do - I plan on hanging in & snuggling with my baby girl. We'll probably color a lot, have dance parties just because and bake something.

  4. It's funny, but when I lived in SoCA, I always loved going shopping when it was raining. I'm not sure why, but I was almost always out in it. It's different when it's stormy in MT though. We get more rain in the summer months.

  5. I made a pre-emptive strike on the soup. Made a pot full tonight. I love to listen to rain.

  6. When it's a warm summer rain, I like working in the garden, or going on a puddle jumping adventure with my daughter.

If it's a cold rain, or a snow storm, then I'm all about being snuggled inside, with warm drinks, a fire, and either playing games, doing art projects, or reading. ...maybe a bit of napping too. ;)

  7. Um it rains and snows here a lot, so it's so not a special occassion. But if it's on a weekend when I have nothing to do - I loooovvveee to cook when it rains/snows.

But we're lucky, it's sunny today so I'm gonna run errands and shop & such. Tomorrow though when it rains, you can bet I'll be cooking. I'm making a soup, and also a big chicken in my new crock pot!
