Question of the Day #427

Making big resolutions once a year doesn't work for me. I'm more like a constant work in progress, evolving all year long.

Do you make New Year's resolutions? And if you do make them, do you care to share any?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I don' think I have ever made a resolution & don't think I will start now...I like what you said, "work in progress" ...yep, that's me alright.

  2. I sometimes do make resolutions and it is usually to exercise more and eat healthier. But I'll label it my goals instead this year and say the same thing plus add my writing goals (finish revisions, submit to agents, finish poetry book...)!

  3. I don't make New Year's resolutions. I have commitment issues so resolutions make me nervous. Yes, I am a constant work in progress too. So this year I have reminders: more me, more fun, more love, more outdoors, more rest.

  4. New Year's resolutions are too much pressure for me. I honestly don't think I've ever made one. I like the reminder idea. 2010 LD reminders: to be less alone and to put myself first more often.

  5. Yeah, I'm pretty much always resolving to be healthier, so New Years ain't no thang. But I do foresee a lot of growth in 2010. I'm excited about it!

  6. I've never quite understood the big hurrah around New Year's Day resolutions. Personally, I tend to find the months of August and September are most likely the times when changes occur in my life. I generally like the continuous improvement approach.

  7. I don't make new years resolutions. I just make changes all throughout the year. Labor Day weekend seems to be a big time for me to make changes, as summer comes to an end.

  8. I made some photo ones last year and those were fun to accomplish. This year I just want to get my blood pressure down. It's been high and I really don't want to have to control it with meds. So, I guess the old stand-by of "eating right and exercising" means a little more this year. Let's hope so, anyway ...
