Question of the Day #359

I'm going to my friends' annual Halloween Extravaganza tonight. It's a good time. Lots of friends, food worth fighting for (a brawl is already brewing over K's Buffalo Chicken Dip) and a beer fridge containing liquid treats from around the world.

H and I decided to be The Devil and The Angel. I'm not even going to tell you who is who.

Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, what will you dress up as?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I LOVE dressing up. ...and it usually tends to be scarey costumes. Witches, grim reaper, and ghosts, but think more inline with the ring wraiths from Lord of the Rings, not Casper-ish.

I sometimes sit very still on the candlelit porch with the spider decorations, then only move to get up to give candy when kids approach. I like being able to freak out even the big ones. hehehe, err, I mean... woooooHAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAA!!!

    Boo! Happy Halloween all! ;)

    Halloween is the best.

  2. I have a Jason Voorhees mask that has a clear plastic cover and by squeezing a tube you can make it look like fake blood is gushing over it. One year I answered the door for trick or treaters wearing it, and pissed a lot of parents off because their kids ran off terrified :)

  3. I almost always go for witchy--whatever that says....
I can't believe I never followed you, so I am rectifying that as I post. And thanks for the comment!

  4. Yes!!! Last year I was Sarah Palin (you betcha!), this year I'm a punk rocker. I'm going to try to make my hair a faux hawk...but not sure I can pull it off...

  6. Have a jolly good time! I have a witch's hat in the house and if I add a broomstick and some gooey makeup, I' think I'll do alright!!

  7. I have a t-shirt that reads "I do all my own stunts"...I've worn it for the past 3 years. I usually make my face up to look like it's bruised and scraped (this year I gave myelf an awesome black-eye and bloody nose), I tease my hair and stuff a few leaves and twigs in it for effect and this year I sported a walking cast. This was all for a recent Halloween party I attended. Tomorrow night I plan on being a bundled up, proud Mommy of the most adorable flower gnome ever. Happy Halloween everyone!

  8. Last year I was Leela from Futurama. My husband was Fry, my older son was Bender, my daughter was Amy, and my younger son was Nibbler. I haven't planned anything for this year, though. Maybe I'll put on some furry ears and go as a cat or something.
