If you could be an Olympic champion at a sport, what sport would you choose?
I am not very sporty. At all. So if I were to choose a sport, I'd chose something graceful, like skating. I'd like to be graceful. (Not to mention incredibly strong, fit, flexible, limber and all the other awesome characteristics skaters embody.)

I'd choose either rhythmic gymnastics (gorgeous/freaky/graceful), snowboarding or swimming/diving. I used to dance so that's probably why I love rg. I've always wanted to be good at swimming but I'm super scared of water. I live in Utah and I've never been snowboarding. Tragic, really.
ReplyDeleteProbably figure skating or gymnastics, since those are the sports I've actually done -- though it was some time ago, and I was never really any good. But they're certainly the sports I most enjoy watching.
ReplyDeleteThat said, my lack of actual sports talents means I'm more likely to win in something like, I don't know, curling -- something that doesn't seem to require actual sportiness.
I think I can medal in Trampoline.
ReplyDeleteGymnastics--uneven bars, specifically. Not balance beam, though. Even in my imagination, I can't picture my balance ever being that good.
ReplyDeleteGymnastics for sure. Or fencing.
ReplyDeleteLove this question! Tennis of course for me, but I have loved watching curling in the winter Olympics. What a crazy sport! Rubbing the ice so it melts (and in the right direction with the right speed!!) It is very exciting in a slow motion kind of way.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing all that again real soon in 2010. Do love the skaters too! Is the Jamaican luge team coming again? That was a hoot a few years back.
Basketball or Baseball.....But we plan on traveling to Whistler for 2010!!!
ReplyDeleteDownhill Skiing
ReplyDeleteGymnastics. But sadly, I gave up that dream years ago.
ReplyDeleteSwimming, as I'm scared of the water, still!
ReplyDeleteI would have been a runner for sure. I used to be a really fast runner and could have done more with it had my parents pushed me a little. Instead they said "do whatever you like"
ReplyDeleteSkiing or tennis. Those are my favorite sports :)
