Question of the Day #344

I just finished applying for a job and it took me like 45 minutes to write a three paragraph cover letter.

And I'm a writer.

It's so hard to explain why I think I'm right for a job without sounding like a moron.

What's the hardest part of job hunting for you?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Those first few minutes of the interview always kill me. Once I get in the swing of things though I relax and all is well. It's just a nervous thing. I hate those questions like; Describe a time in your life when you had to make a difficult decission and what the outcome was. But then my wife says I can BS like no one else so I tend to do good with those questions as well.

  2. The resume, because it's a hassle actually spelling out all the stuff done in the course of a job. Sort of like breaking down a whole ms into a pithy, one-paragraph blurb.

  3. I'm intimidated by the whole darn thing! It's been a while and I'm rusty. I'm hoping to avoid the interview process altogether and start something of my own. Time and motivation is desperately needed.

  4. I found you! I'm going to follow you! LOL!
