Question of the Day #1,084

Last night, my Internet connection went out. Since it was Friday night and I wasn't working, it was okay. Annoying, but okay.

Today it's spotty.

Now I'm super annoyed because I have to call Verizon and troubleshoot the problem so I can work Monday morning.

I don't want to call Verizon. I don't want to sit on hold forever. I don't want to waste Saturday morning dealing with a service I pay for that should be working.

Who do you hate to call?

  1. I hate to call anywhere that uses an extended automated system - especially when the issue could be resolved with a five second question. Phone and internet companies seem to be the worst.

  2. Canada Revenue Agency. Their phone system rarely works well, and then if you can actually get through, you have a good chance of getting someone who is incompetent. Resulting in having to try to call them again at some point in the future.

  3. I'm not a phone person, so I hate to call anyone. Mostly though, when I do it's to make a doctor's appointment ... or a dentist one. ACK!

  4. I had an HP laptop once that was giving me fits. I tried calling HP and got...India, of course. That was very frustrating.

  5. I hate to call phone or wireless or cable companies too. What a waste. I'm so scared to call my work and I don't know why. I hate phone calls. Luckily my job includes calling probably 30 - 50 people a day :( lol
