I love that it's 75 degrees and sunny. I love that I'm about to take a long beach walk. I love that after that, I'll probably sit on the beach and read.
99% GORGEOUS weather from October to April.I have worn shorts and flip-flops to Christmas shop. I live 40 min from DisneyWorld and 40 min from the ocean. We pick fresh citrus in January and fresh strawberries in March. We see wild alligators, peacocks, manatees and dolphins. There's nothing I miss about living up North.
I love the autumn colors and the brisk days and the flocking of the crows and starlings as they jockey for position, and I love the brilliant fallish sunsets and I love it that I'm but a short drive from Lake Huron, our inland freshwater sea. I love sweaters and hand knitted hats and big boots and the pond freezing over. I love it here.
Laid back beach town, great family community, crisp Fall air, great schools, fun/do-anything-to-help people, everyone knows their neighbors, and a train that takes you into one of the best cities in the world.
I love the change of seasons in Chicago. (Please remind me that I said this when we get 2 feet of snow this winter).
ReplyDeleteSame as you, except a couple of miles south. Am grateful every day for this.
ReplyDeleteToday it is fifty degrees and cloudy, so right now I just love where you live.

ReplyDeleteSuzanne,
ReplyDeleteI'm mentioning you today. Hope you don't mind....
The hills, the cypress trees on the river, the wildlife that is right next door.

Oh for the love, *wonderful*. I can't stand typos.
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture!!! Just came from the beach myself. It'd be tough to ever move away from it.
ReplyDeleteEverything!
ReplyDeleteEverything except for the high unemployment and the fact that many people up here are really struggling.
Other than that, everything!
I love the excitement, that there is always something to do, that you can never be bored. <3
