Question of the Day #873

 

It's raining sideways on the LA Marathon. Roads are blocked. Bleachers were set up yesterday. Runners arrived from all over the world.

It's 50 degreees, pouring and whipping 20 mile per hour winds.

But the athletes are undaunted. Impressive, don't you think?

    This is one of those few times in life where no matter how you do, you'll have a great story to tell. The only problem is that you have to suffer the event to get the story.

    I SO wish I was running that thing today.

    Very impressive, plus 26.2 miles is difficult in any course or weather.
