Question of the Day #866

So we've sprung forward. Gained an hour. A little more daylight. But does it mean Spring is coming? I know a lot of you have endured an awful Winter.

What do you think? Has Spring sprung?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Since I feel like a coiled spring that has sprung (spronged), I guess I'd say so. ;)

  2. It's springing here for sure. Pear and redbuds in bloom, mockbirds singing, and the occasional butterfly. Soon the hummers will arrive. Sugar water is waiting for them.

  3. We still have a ways to go, but the sap is flowing and the first batches of maple syrup are being made. Also seeing stronger colours on the goldfinches, and awaiting the arrival of the male red-winged black birds. All signs that spring will be coming soon. :)

  4. We gained an hour of daylight but I lost an hour of my weekend. I don't like that! However, it has been weird the past couple of weeks, having it so sunny so early in the morning and get dark so early. This seems more natural.

  5. Spring has definitely sprung here in the South! My daffodils are in full bloom! I love the longer days but am definitely mourning that lost hour - just as I savor it when we get it back in the Fall. More sunlight means more "Mommy & Me"-time options after work...a walk, the playground, blowing bubbles on the front porch.

  6. The azaleas have a million flowers and the temperature hit 80 the other day. There have been people hanging out at our condo pool this weekend. It must be Spring!
