Question of the Day #806

Most of the time, when I wake up in the morning, my jaw is killing me. My front teeth ache and I know, once again, I was grinding my teeth while I slept.

Some people snore. Other people walk. Others get up and prepare entire meals and eat while they sleep.

What do you do while you're asleep?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I have crazy dreams. And occasionally I'll dream that I'm trying to get my bottom retainer in and it no longer fits and I keep trying to push it in. I also dream occasionally about my teeth falling out and it feels like a mouth full of marbles except it's my teeth. Gross!

Those dreams make me wonder if I'm doing something strange with my mouth at night since it feels so vivid and real in my dreams.

A handful of times I've woken myself up laughing because something struck me as really funny in a dream. Dreams are berry berry interesting...

  2. ONE of my classic sleepwalking moments was when I was in high school. I had a dream one night that I went to school in a sheer see-through ruffly blouse and forgot to wear a bra. The dream was centered around humilation and embarrassment as I walked the halls trying to cover myself up so no one would notice. Woke up the next morning to find a bra on over my pajamas!

  4. I used to sleep walk--thank goodness I've stopped! Now I mostly snore quietly.

  5. I do all sorts of things. I've walked around the house, talked, had random conversations with my wife, etc. One time I was making little pinching motions with my hands on her back and when she woke up and asked what I was doing I told her I was pulling all the bugs off her. She jumped out of bed screaming which woke me up and then we realized there was nothing there and I was just dreaming. She still mocks me for that one.

  6. According to me, dream peacefully. According to my husband, snore.

  9. I dream in color. It's been said that you can't dream in color, maybe it's just a myth but I do. One time I was around 15 I was sleepwalking and I opened the door to the dryer and was just about to piss in it but my grandfather was a light sleeper, so he got up because he heard me moving around and stopped me.

  11. I chit-chat a bit. My husband on the other hand does some weird things. Once he karate kicked my lamp. I should probably wear body armor.

  12. I can't "see" pictures in my imagination, nor can I envision or remember faces. (prosopagnosia.) But I see faces, and everything else, in my technicolor dreams. - - - As for grinding your teeth, it's time to go to the dentist and get yourself a mouth guard before you destroy your teeth.
