I usually skip breakfast and have a diet coke or fresca. If I do eat something it is a fat-free yogurt or a piece of fruit. Today I had a fresca and nectarine while driving to work. Yum.
9 out of 10 mornings I have 2 slices of wheat toast and a cup of coffee. I went through a stage of having yogurt, fruit and granola every day, but since I became diabetic I am STARVING when I get up and want to make something that's fast.
The only standard for me is coffee. Foodwise I mix it up, any given day it could be yogurt, banana, cereal, berry smoothie, pancakes, eggs and bacon...mmmmm...
I mix it up but not much. It's either a cereal bar, english muffin with peanut butter, a chocolate chip cookie or a pop tart. Sometimes I add a banana too!
I usually have some vegetarian sausage and some cottage cheese with coffee for breakfast. I love bananas though....I can only eat a half of one. They are so filling!

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to change it up every week because I am easily bored, but a banana almost always sneaks its way in :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm a total creature of habit. I don't eat breakfast, but I have the same amount of coffee in the same cup at the same time EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

ReplyDeletemy doc says it's best to start the day with protein. And so I do: Cottage cheese with red grapes and granola. And coffee, of course.
ReplyDeleteI mix it up -- been eating hard boiled eggs a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteMix it up. I get bored otherwise.
