Question of the Day #790

When I hoped for snow, I had no idea Vermont would get a blizzard. Since I don't get to enjoy a lot of snow in LA, it's a special treat for me.

But apparently, people are getting snowed in everywhere. And cities that rarely get flurries, like Atlanta and Charlotte, are having snow days.

What weather is happening where you live?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. It snowed on Christmas here -- just enough to make it a white Christmas but not make the roads dangerous. It was perfect!

...as long as I can get out tomorrow. : )

  3. It's one of those super-clear crisp days here in Southern California. Perfect for hiking down at the beach.

  5. We still have tons of snow from November. More is on the way, but it rarely snows anyone in around here. I guess it's different here, for some reason unknown to me. I'm thinking of going snowshoeing today -- maybe up in Glacier.

    Enjoy your snow, Suzanne!

  6. Christmas Day was gray and cloudy, but yesterday and today are cold and sunny. (Tulsa, OK) We have had so many years of ice storms during December that I am beyond thrilled to have NO snow, NO rain, NO ice--even if it is cold and windy. It has been interesting to see the reactions to all the snow across the country, though. And saddening to see all the damage from the rain in CA.

  8. It snowed all day on Christmas. GA hasn't seen a white Christmas since 1882 and I can't remember the last time I had a white Christmas so it was really lovely. It's sunny and very cold today with a good amount of snow still on the ground.

  10. Boy, you are good at hoping! Could you hope for winning lottery numbers for me??? Oh, the weather: A few inches of snow on the ground Christmas Eve. It will be melting the end of the week--predicting around 50 degrees on Friday.

  11. One thing about living in Edmonton - I hardly have to worry about enough snow at Christmas. We didn't get the regular cold though - and today, the sun is shining. It's still COLD, but it doesn't LOOK as cold :-)

  13. In the 30's at night...we run the heater. In the 60's-70's during the day...we flip on the A/C.
It's still better than being in the snow!
