Sometimes big plans, sometimes no plans. Last fall I missed a dinner party because of a previous engagement and found out that my friends decided, in my absence :) that the NYE PaRtY would be at my house! It's kind of like not showing up for a meeting and finding out that you were elected president. But as you can see I'm blogging and all is under control. Just need to shower and make one/two last hors'deurves and all will be done(with a little help from those friends) Ready for 2011! Happy New Year!!!!
In all my 50 years, I think I have welcomed the new year in maybe three or four times. I am REALLY not a late night person, so we don't usually make any plans. I do, however, plan to make black eyed peas and corn bread for lunch tomorrow! :) Happy New Year!
We're off to a kid friendly party with some great friends. We should be home by 10, the latest! Don't want to have the kids on the road anytime around midnight.
My preference is to do nothing, other than snuggle in bed with a good book, and be fast asleep prior to midnight. However, I often get invited out, like tonight, so I'll go out for a bit (but will do my very best to still be home and asleep before 12).
No plans - just a quiet night of dinner and a movie with family. I'm home now (well before midnight on the East Coast) and plan to be asleep before the peach drops in Atlanta. Happy New Year, everyone!
We ate Chinese Food, watched the Liberty Bowl, baked cookies and listened to the wealthy people in the next neighborhood send up a gazillion dollars worth of fireworks.

Quiet plans. It's nice staying close to home on the craziest night of the year.
ReplyDeleteQuiet. We make it a family game night. Perhaps a game of ATMOSFEAR or CLUE
