Question of the Day #789
My mom and I decorated these cookies yesterday. As I striped the candy cane cookie, she laughed and said, "Those stripes look like worms!"
"Watch out or I'll make you eat it," I replied.
We dipped cookies (and most of the kitchen) in chocolate. I stained my fingers red. We splattered sprinkles all over the counter and laughed through the whole process.
The cookies look funny, but who knows, maybe they'll taste good.
What are you not so good at but find fun anyway?
xoxo,
Suzanne

I can't think of a thing that I enjoy that I am not good at. Either that is a sign of insecurity because I don't like to fail and don't do things more than once if I am not good, or it is a sign of delusion that I think I am good at things I am not. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think your cookies look funny. I think you did a great job, and the memories you made were even better than the cookies, right?
Glee Revolution on Wii. Tried a duet on it yesterday--pretty darn funny--and it didn't help that I wound up with the mike doing Rachel's part. The good thing is none of us could carry a tune in a bucket so nobody cares.
ReplyDeleteArt. I'll make little designs, and I enjoy it. But I don't really get much better and I don't think they are all that good compared to others - but I do still like it.
ReplyDeleteSinging and dancing! I stink at both but it's so fun!!
ReplyDeleteCookies ...
ReplyDeleteScrapbooking. I do a pretty good job, but compared to my sister's, mine look pretty sad.
