Question of the Day #771
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a rock star. I sang at every talent show, fair, play and in any choir I could.
When I got to LA, my roommates and I sang together. I learned how to play chords on the piano so we had some sort of backup. I never mastered the keys, but I wish I had.
Do you play an instrument? If not, what instrument would you like to play?
xoxo,
Suzanne

A cello. It's my favorite instrument to listen to.
ReplyDeletePiano or trumpet.
ReplyDeletePiano! I wanna piano! (Piano as a verb, not a noun.)
ReplyDeleteI remember stay by lisa loeb and a. Morrisette being sung a lot. I still play drums to this day.
ReplyDeleteI love this question,.. when I was a kid I wanted to play the saxophone, but my dad wouldn't let me. I don't know why, I still think the saxophone is super cool.
ReplyDeleteLast year my daughter's piano teacher offered a mom's guitar lesson, I signed up and now can rock out to Margaritaville in my backyard while the kids are playing:)
I took piano lessons for 8 years. In high school band I played almost all of the percussion instruments.
ReplyDeleteIn Grade School and HS I played trumpet and french horn. (If I picked either up now I'd surly have every dog within miles howling.)
ReplyDeleteNONE! My parents were very sports oriented so I was a sporty girl. One of my early aspirations was a singer but I took yearbook instead of chorus (which was okay because the choir director went to jail for having an affair with a classmate of mine...yikes).
ReplyDeleteI wish I had some sort of music lessons though.
Never played an instrument except the recorder and triangle in 4th grade. I WISH! I am so not-artistically-inclined so whatevs... I just play my "instruments" (read: appliances) in my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI don't play anything, but I would like to. Cello is my favorite instrument. But, what I'd really LOVE to learn is the xylophone!
