Question of the Day #770

This morning, I have to go to the doctor to get some stitches out. Have you ever had stitches? What did you get stitched up?

  2. I lost count somewhere around 200 stiches. Stitches were "my thing" as a kid. The list is long so I'll just share how it all started... I ran into the corner of our big wood encased TV when I was 2 - 24 stitches in my forehead.

  5. Yow! What did you get stitches for?
Just my three c-section stitches. And actually I think those were staples...

  6. Hope you're ok! Had them as a kid after being in the hospital with an IV & chest tube for pneumonia. Next time as an adult after an emergency c-section. Or those may also have been staples, not sure...

  7. I've had 2 foot surgeries that required quite a few stitches in each. Also had them after having kids and then one time on my shoulder to remove a cyst. Gross.

  8. Ugh. I had to get the stitches in my chin without anesthesia when I was 11. Not a happy memory!

  9. Besides two episodes of giving birth to two very large babies, I have cracked my chin open, cracked one of my knuckles open, had surgeries on my jaw and my foot and had a small neurofibroma removed from my arm.

  10. Oy--so many parts--an eyebrow, a cheek, a knee, a neck, some "girly bits" post-delivery...

  11. I had my back stitched up after spinal fusion surgery when I was fifteen. It was to correct scoliosis. Happy to say it's all holding up pretty well! The two metal rods in my back make for great posture.
