Question of the Day #766

I've been so busy during the past month or so that I haven't had a second to read. What am I missing out on? What are you reading?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  3. Okay--I was way behind on my reading, too, but then I got sick, prompting a reading binge. Anyway, so my picks are old news, but if you haven't read the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, get ahold of it NOW. Even though it's not the type of genre I typically read, it's so awesome it transcends genrezation.

I also just finished The Eternal Ones, by Kristen Miller. If you can just past the first couple chapters (where she insults her grandma, which turns out to be kind of some misplaced characterization), it's a pretty rockin' romance/mystery/adventure.

Also, Room, by Emma Donoghue (whose last name I'm probably misspelling), was pretty amazing. Again, little bit of a slow start, but after the first 50 pages, it's on and the pace only gets more intense.

    Have fun reading! : )

  4. I just finished reading a e-ARC of a book called Populazzi. It's very much like your book in style. Well written and fun. When it comes out, you should read it!

  5. Read? Maybe the NY times on the train. Kids, a house payment, grad school, work - I'm lucky if I have time to eat breakfast....

  6. I just started reading LIAR. The trouble is I've been so tired I've read the first two pages three nights in a row. All I know is the mc is a liar but doesn't want to be one anymore...I keep falling asleep!

  7. Just finished George W. Bush's Decision Points which was intriguing and The Whisperers by John Connolly, the latest in his Charlie Parker series and never disappointing. Am about to begin Eyes of a Child by Lescoat; never without a book in my hands... or my Kindle.

  8. I just started "And This Is Where I Leave You" by Jonathan Tropper (I think I got most of that right?). It's sad and funny at the same time. I just barely started it, but so far it's very entertaining.
