It's FRIDAY! So, I'm going to do some work this morning and then head out to deliver some Suzie Foods and visit with my amazing writer/editor friend, Nancy, for lunch. Then I'll wait some tables at the pub.
Tomorrow, N is going to smoke a brisket again. So I'm all over that. And on Sunday, I'd like to catch up with some friends who will be out celebrating since the Professional Bridesmaid is coming to town.
What are YOU doing this weekend?
xoxo,
Suzanne
Writing!
ReplyDeleteMeeting writing friends is so wonderful. Have fun!
It's the Civic Holiday long weekend here, so I'm hoping to find little snippets of R&R time. Otherwise, finishing up the updates to two bathrooms, painting walls, mowing the lawn (because we are supposed to have the first non-rainy day in weeks). I suspect there will be lots of BBQed food involved in our plans for the weekend. ;)
ReplyDeleteSwim practice-birthday party-dinner party-swim meet-church, I think. I'm probably forgetting something.
ReplyDeleteSmoked brisket? Sounds delicious. I think I'm going for barbecue, actually, with my parents. We've had a rough July with my boyfriend's stepdad dying earlier this month so I'm just looking forward to our first weekend at home doing nothing.
ReplyDeletePacking up the car and hittin' the road! Watch out Maine, here we come!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
My parents are in town so tomorrow we're all going to the Old Soldiers parade in the morning and then we're having a good old fashiond New England clambake...smack dab in the middle of Georgia!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh have fun this weekend Suzie!! Friday I went out in Hoboken with the girls, Saturday pool all day with the husband then date night probably dinner & drinks in Westfield then home to make a fire in the backyard, then Sunday breakfast with my husband & his brothers with their wives & kids, then dinner with my friend Lisa who just got engaged this past Wednesday! Gonna be a busy one! :-)
ReplyDeleteMeeting up with a blogger friend , first one and first time ever! Also, going to an organic day event.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne! This is so very strange. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. We connected once before when you borrowed a tag from me for your question of the day. But when I came over just now I saw you were going to lunch with Nancy Lamb. I've known Nancy for years. Some of my family live on her block and so I see her from time-to-time when I'm in Venice. It's got to be the Kevin Bacon thing. How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteHi Tricia! That IS very cool! Nancy is an amazing friend, writer and editor. If it weren't for her, my novel would have NO structure.
ReplyDeleteIt IS six degrees of Kevin Bacon! I love it!
