I'm reading two books: 1) Dead Until Dark; and 2) some chic-lit book by Sophie Kinsella...which I can't remember the title of...but is a great quick & trash read.
I'm on book 4 of the Percy Jackson series, Battle of the Labyrinth, and I just finished Blood on the River, a historical novel set in 1600s Jamestown. Next up is Graceling by Kristen Cashore.
Am currently reading Suspect by Michael Robatham, but also just finished World Without End and Pillars of the Earth, which were both fantastic. Suspect is okay.
I have finished the Twilight series from Stephenie Meyer, but my children are currently hooked on Bobo, a kids magazine full of color and interesting stories. You can see some of my favorite books on my Shelfari Bookshelf at Music of My Life.
I'm reading Churchill & His Inner Circle or something like that. I usually stay away from biographies but the writing is quite good. I'll finish it someday -
At the moment I am reading the Bible more from the history aspect than for other reasons. Other than that I only read technical manuals and technical publications. I know boring.
I have about 5 different books I'm reading at the moment. I'm focusing on My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Marier (I loved her book Rebecca not only because it's a fabulous book but because the deceased supporting female character shared the same FABULOUS name as me!). I'm also working on The Lovely Bones, Inkheart, The Thirteenth Tale, and attempting to read scriptures daily. My to do reading list includes the play Cyrano de Bergerac, Past Perfect, and a couple other good books I recently bought on my book shopping spree. A good book I read recently was called The Goose Girl. It's very young adult/child but that's the genre I love. Children s books are always so amazing and imaginative!
I'm a big reading fan if you couldn't tell. Also quite ADHD.
I've been reading mostly kid's books lately. The boys & I are reading "Someday Heaven" in school and still working on "Trumpet of the Swan". I have a big pile of books I want to read myself, but by the time I read everyone's blogs, my eyes have had it.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading two different series by Charlaine Harris. I'm on the 7th book in the Aurora Teagarden series and book 2 of the Harper Connelly series.
I'm just about to finish Water for Elephants and every other night I read Where the Wild Things Are (Lucy's favorite these days).

ReplyDeleteI just started Twilight and I'm still working my way through Shantaram. It's been tough to focus with the new little one.

Lisa D! I started Shantaram and somehow I am struggling with it. Are you into it? Should I struggle more?
