I'm getting ready to head back out to California. It took 30 hours to get here. It took B 20 hours to get home and since it snowed all night, I'm wondering how long my journey will take.
But like B said, it was the best Christmas ever. And if crazy delays and airport stays are the price we have to pay, it's all worth it.
How far did you travel for the holidays?
xoxo,
Suzanne
I traveled about 3 towns over, maybe a 15 minute drive max. All year long it stinks that family lives so close, but on the holidays I am thankful so that I don't have to travel!
ReplyDelete6.5 hours driving with a four-year old in the back asking "Are we there yet?" every 5 minutes, so that we could meet up with our crazy family in Vermont. We had a fun time once we were there, and thankfully were able to stay safe whilst travelling through bad weather and slippy roads.
ReplyDeleteI just had to walk out of my bedroom door and there was a party going on :)
ReplyDeleteLOVED every minute of it.
0.0 miles. Most excellent holiday!
ReplyDeleteOnly 4 hours each way ... we lucked out with the weather this year! :-)
ReplyDeleteI traveled one state further than you, but only took about 12 hours (and that's with a three hour delay). I'll let ya know how the return goes cuz first place I'm comin when I land back in LA is Sonny's!
ReplyDeleteNo travel for us. : )
