After two years of living here, I just discovered that a light switch in the hallway turns a light on in the kitchen.

How about everything. I woke up and learned when I had my first child at 33.
ReplyDelete2.5 years to learn that there is a lightswitch in the garage. The discovery coincided with the 2.5 years it took to finally clean out the garage. :)
ReplyDelete30 months in this apartment and I thought you had to pull the Hot/Cold indicator out to get hot water. I was wrong. You only have to turn it.

ReplyDeleteI just learned 2 months ago that our ceiling fans can be switched to spin the reverse direction.
Same here -- one of the light switches controls the plate on the other side of the room.
ReplyDeleteThere's also a light switch in our hall closet, but no light. Now that's still baffling ...
