To get there, we hiked up trails, pounded up stairs and skulked through tunnels. On the way down, H said, "Look Suz! There's the light at the end of the tunnel."
And to think, I'd almost thought it had disappeared. So have you seen any glimpses of the light at the end of the tunnel lately? If so, what did it look like?
xoxo,
Suzanne
Um, JEALOUS! say hi to H for me.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like summer vacation.
ReplyDeleteThankfully ,haven't come across a predicament lately!! But I'm sure the relief is tremendous when one is about to give up and, a light shines to give HOPE.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks like an angel in disguise ;)!
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures!
ReplyDeleteH is great ;]
I loved the pictures. No lights lately for me but it reminded me of a short story. After a friend of mine had a major heart attack he was talking about the experiance. He made the comment that "all that talk about seeing the light when you died was bologna because he died twice during the operation and he didn't see any light". He is a cantankerous old man so I told him "maybe the light was behind you" :)
ReplyDeleteLight at the end of the tunnel? It's called retirement. In like 50 years.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I want to be on that hike!!! Sounds like you're having a fabulous time! Great pictures too!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'll keep an eye out for that light.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I am jealous.
I LOVE THAT HIKE!! Mike and I did it when we were in Honolulu in September 2007. It's amazing and the view from the top is beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your time on O'ahu!!
ReplyDeleteCool pic! Warm weather finally for us!
ReplyDeleteRosidah, I agree! It DOES look like an angel in disguise! ; )
