My favorite color is red. It was my Granny's favorite color. In fact, she only wore red and black. Red is bright and powerful and eye catching. And according to The Color Code, it means I'm a bit of a control freak.
I won't argue with that.
What's your favorite color and why?
xoxo,
Suzanne
Green. It makes me feel peaceful.
ReplyDeleteOrange is one of my favorites, because it's cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI love so many colors. I like green the best, too. I like trees, maybe that is it. I also love spring when the lawn and forest burst into color. My second favorite is silver.
ReplyDeleteAny shade of teal will relax me. Burnt orange is next.
ReplyDeleteI like them all - a world without color is boring - having said that, my world typically is just black & white (if you know what I mean).
ReplyDeleteOrange because it's different and all shades of orange are vibrant to me.
ReplyDeleteRed is my favorite too. It's bright and cheerful, or deep and vibrant. It signifies life and love and it looks good on me too :^)
ReplyDeleteBlue. I don't know why, but it's been my favorite for a long time. As a kid I tended to like sky blue, or even more baby blue most. Now I tend toward deeper shades, more dark royal blue.
ReplyDeleteI like pale ice blue. To me it's a quiet, soothing color & I'm always drawn to it.(funny...it's pretty much the only color that doesn't show up in my alphabet. Hmmm?)
ReplyDeleteGreen! It's natural, calming, and the colour of my eyes.
ReplyDeleteI love purple. It's rich and fun!
ReplyDeleteGuess! :-) Pink of course.
ReplyDeleteBecause it makes me feel like a girl.
Purple is a close second. Why purple...because it makes me feel sumptuous! (I have a pair of purple ballet flats that make me smile every time I put them on.)
I like blues and greens. My favorite would be a combination of the two. They make me happy.
ReplyDeleteI've loved purple ever since I was just a little kid and watched "The Donny and Marie" show. "In the deep, purple falls..." Donny always wore purple socks, and for a few years, so did I. Then in 6th grade we learned about the Phoneicians and how purple was a symbol of royalty. Being the little queen that I was, that sealed the deal.
ReplyDeleteBlue, in almost any shade, because it's so soothing and the basic color of the sky and ocean.
ReplyDeleteBenjamin Moore 2138 :) Pretty and soothing.
ReplyDeleteBLUE -- so many reasons! But if I were to pick a Crayola color, it would be Wild Blue Yonder. It looks just like faded blue jeans.
ReplyDeleteGreen and blue, because they reminds me of nature.
