If I were dating someone exactly like me, the conversation would be boring and full of wise-cracks.
I had a date with a girl who insisted I order first, then duplicated my order. I suggested wine, she said whatever I'm drinking. She wasn't being herself. Yep, we got married. As it turned out, she is nothing like me, thankfully.
I would take me to some art shows, botanical gardens, concerts, and theatre. I'd go for hikes, come home and cook amazing suppers. I'd bring my favorite wine. We'd likely spend a few quiet evenings fireside. We'd talk about world events, social issues, personal interests, good books. I'd woo myself with random acts of kindness, and leave little surpises like chocolate with a note telling myself how much I loved me. Okay, this is getting weird... ;)
I have to agree with Matt -- definitely one of your best and most unique!
I might take myself up to Glacier National Park, depending on the time of year. There are some awesome hikes up there that I haven't been on yet because they're a bit much for the kids. But, I think me and myself could handle it. :)
I would take me on a hike somewhere beautiful. I would talk about interesting and funny things. I would pack a picnic. I'd smile into my eyes, be genuine, sincere, and complimentary. And then I'd move in for a kiss.
Hmm maybe just to a nice dinner to start out with. To get to know each other. Or to the beach or something. Fun! Going out to clubs and parties are fun but not if you're getting to know someone!
This isn't a question on masturbation, is it?

Ha ha ha!!! That is hilarious, your question and Charlie's comment.
ReplyDeleteI'd take myself for a quick dinner to chat then to a concert (of course!).

ReplyDeleteI'd probably take myself hiking. Or maybe to see a show. Or a movie. Or the beach. Guess I'm not too hard to impress!
ReplyDeleteThis has been one of your best questions yet.

Great question. Why sis no one I ever dated ask it?

ReplyDeleteHm. I'd take me somewhere warm and tropical and talk about life and politics and faith over bottles of Corona.
