Question of the Day #953

On Saturday night, I attended a launch party for my friend Freddy's new reality show, Hollywood Hunter. Since he was a child, Freddy has hunted all over the world. It's his passion.

But since he moved to Hollywood to be with his wife, Jeannie, he has encountered awkward silences and a lack of acceptance for his hunting. So, he and Jeannie created this show to inform people about the different aspects of hunting.

"My father always says, 'Chase your passion, not your pension,'" Freddy said.

I get that. So, my friends and I cheered Freddy on by posing for the photo above.

What good advice did your father give you?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. None unfortunately but I'm going to borrow Freddy's dad's advice! I do need to stop chasing my pension which is making me miserable, and get on with my life chasing my passion. Life is wayyyyyy too short! Thanks, Freddy, and best of luck with your new show! :-)

  2. Cute picture! Good luck to Freddy!

Best advice? Probably this: Stop worrying what everyone else thinks.

  4. First, that's so cool what Jeannie and Freddy have come up with! I love that advice too: "Chase your passion, not your pension." I'm inspired by people that create.

I can't think of anything short and sweet that my dad has advised, but he's always there for me with a healthy perspective and good support no matter what I want to do. He does say something like "Luck is when opportunity meets hard work and preparation." Something to that effect. :)

  5. Suzanne, thank you for sharing about the New Series Hollywood Hunter. I have to say it has been an amazing journey.
Here is one more great line of advice from pops:
"What could be, should be, if I'm to be, what I was created to be."

    Love wisdom keys!
