Question of the Day #630

Today's question is also brought to you by Kristen. She writes, "What's your next trip or vacation? (Weekends count.)"

Mine is a "staycation." Or is it work? Or is it both? Who cares? I'm super psyched because this weekend is the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Summer Conference and I'm going! I'll meet up with my writer buddies, face to face with some I only know through the blogosphere, find out what's cookin' in the industry and suck up all the writing mojo I can.

I'm psyched. So what about you? What's your next stay/vacation?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I can hardly wait until August 6 when I head to Christina Lake, BC for 10 whole days of tanning, lounging, reading and celebrating.

  2. I'm just back from a 2-week trip to Japan and am leaving again next Thursday for a scientific meeting in Albuquerque, followed by 5 days of vacation in Park City, Utah. I look forward to hiking and running in the mountains, and sitting on the deck watching the birds and chipmunks that frequent our feeders.

  3. It will likely be autumn 2011 for my 15th wedding annivesary, and we're still trying to decide where. So far, Germany is a strong contender.

  6. Have fun at the conference!! I so hope I can go one day!
I just got back from Wisconsin yesterday. Had the RV trip before that and NYC before that. I'm home now and that's my favorite place to be!

  8. Have fun at your conference. I wish I was going to one this summer. But I'm not. I'm not going anywhere. My vacation this year will be here on the farm because the hordes are all coming in to celebrate Mom and Dad's 90th birthdays. It'll be a blast of a bash. But you know what it's like when families get together. Yeah, never a dull moment. The saddest thing is they have few friends left to invite.
