Last year, on Independence Day, I attended a Cuatro de Julio fiesta. On my friends' Hollywood Hills roofdeck, we lit crazy long sparklers and took pictures of our initials on fire. From our perch, we watched fireworks all over the city. It was a great night.
Today I'm going to a party at a friend of a friend's house. From another roofdeck we'll check out fireworks, this time over the ocean.
I'm feeling very lucky to know people in high places.

ReplyDeleteWe went to the parade earlier and we'll go to a friends for a bbq and to watch the fireworks from a roof. I love days like this.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm a Canadian, I did some waving of the stars and stripes on Saturday at a little parade in Vermont. In the short time it took for the parade to go by, my daughter collected a lot of candy...and interestingly, a lot of cheese. lol
