Question of the Day #602

Author Carrie Harris, also agented by kt literary, has a cover. Check out her blog to see the awesome artwork. I would totally buy her book based on the cover and the title, Bad Taste in Boys. I mean, who hasn't, at some point, had bad taste in boys? But even better, once you open the book, her writing is totally suck-you-in fantastic.

I'm so excited for her. And also a tad bit envious. I mean, how cool would it be to see my book materializing? For it to have a cover? For me to know that soon it will be on bookshelves?

Very cool.

What dream are you eager to see materialize?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  3. that's a gorgeous cover. one can't help but taste the sweetness in it, and so the title is counter-intuitive that way. very, very appealing.

my dream is to make livable money off my books. i self published two so far and am in the process of doing the third. it's a joy, but there's no money in self publishing. :( however, i had two good friends who are both artists combine to do the cover of my first book, the glitch, and i love it so much. it was the most wonderful experience to see that project come to life.

nice to meecha. here from tricia o'brien.

  5. It WILL happen for you!

And thank you so much for the kind words. You are awesome. I would not want to be on a Muppet-laden author panel if you weren't there too. ;)

  6. Oooo, the cover and title definitely grab me and make me want to read. The artwork also makes me want a margarita. Okay, I'll read while drinking a margarita. Perfect!

For the 1st time in my life, I have a crisp vision of my future. I can see where I want to live, what I want to be doing and my hopes for my children and husband. I'm excited (in a strangely patient way) and look forward to it all materializing!
