All right people, due to today's lack of imagination, we're going back to the "If" book. The question is, if you could spend a year searching the world for one thing, what would it be?
Well if you're going to answer it like that I think I'll answer it like this: I think I'd try to find the solution for hunger/poverty. I feel like these are the root of all misery. It KILLS me to see all the poverty. My sociology class changed me when we talked about these issues. I've never felt more heartache (even from boys telling me they don't want to date me!).
Oh le nez, this doesn't have to be a "save the world answer," in fact, I'm referring to my own inner peace. But a solution for hunger or poverty is an awesome quest.
Oooh, peace is good. I don't know if I can top that one! Hmmmm ... that and contentment. OK ... and maybe a lovely villa in a small Italian town that costs next to nothing! :-)
I'm right behind you, Suzanne. Searching for peace in every way :)! A total cure for sinusitis would also be good. It's hard to deal with from time to time :(.
I'd search for a permanent solution to prevent really 'bad' people from being born. I'm talking about pedophiles, serial killers, rapists, anything to stop the bad seeds from happening.

ReplyDeleteMan, I don't know! I do. I'd search for a cure for cancer. It's affected too many people I love.
ReplyDeleteI would search for contentness. I don't think I've ever been content in my entire life.

ReplyDeleteSo tough: for me it would be the perfect wine, the best view, or the best location for a nap.
ReplyDeleteIf I honestly thought that solutions to world problems were that tangible, I might have a more profound answer.

ReplyDeletePeace has always been my prayer. All things good come with peace :)
ReplyDeleteThe worlds best cup of coffee.
ReplyDeletethe perfect cheeseburger!
ReplyDeleteI would take a half-step further to serenity. But I wouldn't need to search the world for that, I'd just go within, into myself.
ReplyDeleteYour choice of Peace is great. I would search for Unconditional Love.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking it would be nice to find my unmatched socks.
ReplyDeleteEither that, or beatitude. But I've been given to understand I won't find that until after I die.
