Baseball season has officially started! WOOHOO!
Summer nights, bright lights, hot dogs, cold beer, warm pretzels, chanting fans, talking smack, flailing waves, drama and trades, friends at the pub, my first live game on Saturday.
It's all happening...
What's your favorite season?
xoxo,
Suzanne
Summer! Especially early summer before it's 9 million blistering degrees here in the Valley. No school, the days are longer, vacations, sunshine (oh wait, that's every day here in L.A.), unstructured bliss!
ReplyDeleteWell there are seasons I can rule out as my favorite :)like mud season which we have beeen enjoying for more than 2 weeks and black fly season(those little s.... chew on you!!!
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite??? any season that I can be in my garden.
Today was supposed to be Opening Day for the Red Sox. But, it's pouring!!
ReplyDeleteWhile I like the spring and summer, my favorite season is the fall. Apple picking, incredible foliage, crisp days, football.
Fall, all the way! :D
ReplyDeleteAaahh! Baseball season. There is nothing better than a summer night at Fenway. I come from a long line of Red Sox fans and opening day was always a huge event. I have so many precious memories of watching with my grandfather. Whether sitting in my grandparent's 70's motif living room or in the bleachers at Fenway, it was always time to be cherished.
ReplyDeleteBummer it was postponed today. Boooo!
I'm a summer girl and the fact that baseball runs all summer long only makes it that much sweeter.
Holiday season for whatever occasion ;). It gives my family more time together.
ReplyDeleteI like summer season! I like going to my son's baseball games, BBQ's, and summer fun!
ReplyDeleteOnce again...I'm with Lisa D! The start of baseball season opens the door to all that is warm and fun... GO RED SOX!!
ReplyDeleteMmm. Delicious baseball season. I can't wait for that feeling that everything is right in the world...
ReplyDeleteVivian, are you a Red Sox fan too? If so, Beck, Lisa D. and I may have to become your new BBFs. ; )
SUMMMMMER! It snowed in Toronto today. :(
ReplyDeleteI suppose you could say I am a woman for all seasons! :D
ReplyDeleteThere is something about each season that makes me love it immensely, but then something that makes me appreciative of all the others.
Spring and Fall. Not into sports, so those are all out. Summer gets too hot and Winter can be too cold. I like it right in the middle, around 70 degrees; the flowers blooming or the leaves changing glorious colors.
ReplyDeleteSummer! Something about not freezing my heinie off appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteI think mine is either pepper or basil. :)
ReplyDeleteSummer, without a doubt. I love being with my girls with no school obligations. I love sitting by the pool as they swim and I read. I love going the beach several times to play in the ocean - usually with my adorable 3yr old niece. Summer rocks.
