Question of the Day #1,034

What are some things you do to prepare for a natural disaster?

  1. Make sure we have food and water, gas up the car, stock up on firewood, secure anything that's outside, make sure the sump backup battery is functioning, charge the mobile phone, keep batteries and candles on hand. We're hoping in the next year to get a generator...but we're not quite there yet.

Oh, and put my husband's sports car in the garage (LOL). :)

  2. That was funny S V!! We have put "flying objects" away. I think that the media again has hyped this up 6 notches, but I guess that is better than not acknowledging it at all.
I'll let you know how the winds were in the Greens.
The sunset tonight was magnificent! Great reds and golds and deep blues. The beauty before the storm?

  3. Get the photo albums, computers, and jewelry together, ready to evacuate the family and pets if fires are on their way up the valley to our neighborhood.

  4. We got a generator, flashlight, batteries, water..
