My aunt and I just set up her new blog. She recently began writing and decided she's all set to share her experiences and view point with the world.
Pretty cool, right?
Who have you been thrilled to witness stepping out of their comfort zone?

Suzanne
Actually, my Mom. She married young and spent the next 40 years caring for her kids, my dad and her parents. She had never been on a plane before her 60th birthday, but after Dad died she started travelling and has seen a lot of the USA and been to Italy.
ReplyDeleteMy son who is almost 7, has been shy. He had a great summer and gained confidence.
ReplyDeleteThat's easy - my brother. He always wanted to go to Antarctica since he was a little kid, and he made it happen when he worked there for 6 months last year. And then when he got back he took the leap and opened his own business which is fabulously successful. He inspires me every day to find and achieve a life I enjoy.
ReplyDeleteA good friend of mine has been writing historical fiction for years. She's gotten so close to being published so many times, only to be shot down in acquisitions meetings on the rationale that historicals weren't selling well enough at the time. Her latest manuscript is a paranormal contemporary romance, and I love it! Even though I haven't given up hope on her historical fiction (it's so good!), I'm excited to see what happens with the new story (and proud of her for trying something totally different!).
ReplyDeleteMy whole family! They are so closed minded! I wish that they would look outside of their little closed box and see that there is a world outside of them! I was stuck in there for so long and I'm so glad I got out and was able to experience things. I hope my sister is able to do the same when she leaves for university in a few weeks.
