I've been seeing lots of Facebook posts about Summer concerts. I haven't attended any this Summer, but I do remember the thrill of enjoying an outdoor theatre and a live band under the stars.
Have you been to any concerts this Summer? If so, describe them. Make us jealous. ;)

i fell out of favor with summer concerts years ago. when the crowds become too big and too much of a hassle, that might be the cue that i'm no longer the fun and spontaneous person i used to be:)
ReplyDeleteNot a big concert fan...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE concerts, but the weather here is hardly conducive to outdoor events...except Folk Fest, which I never manage to score tickets for. :-(
ReplyDeleteWe have concerts in the park throughout the summer. This is a small New England town with the Christmas Card perfect park and bandstand. About 200 hundred or more people come to picnic with their supper and listen to music AND (I think ) mostly to catch up with their friends. You'll find the kids running up and down the mound of our Civil War monument playing tag or whatever :) Folks hugging and greeting each other. Others just sittin' back and relaxing. A real Norman Rockwell moment.
ReplyDeleteWho knew?
Nope, no concerts this summer. At 9 PM it can be 90 degrees and I'm just not that enthused.
ReplyDeleteNot a one. I'm so old now.
ReplyDeleteI love concerts, but I haven't been to one this summer. Mr. F and I used to tear up the dancing scene. So much fun! Usually I need an instigator to get me out rocking.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to any this summer, but I love the atmosphere at an outdoor concert. There's just something about it.
ReplyDeleteHave you heard of WEMF? World Electronic Music Festival? It's in South Algonquin (in Ontario Canada). It's known worldwide. Although most people that go are from Ontario or Canada, I met people from the US and from the UK ... probably other countries there too! It was amazing! Two nights of music ... mmm ... amazing! And listening to Deko-ze while watching the sun come up ... amazing!
