Question of the Day #946

I just finished catering a breakfast for 13 women. First they went for a walk and a climb on the Santa Monica Steps. After their workout, they returned to my client's house. She requested tea, fresh scones, a berry bowl, oatmeal and a frittata.

I suggested two frittatas. My client hesitated then said, "My friends don't really eat. But I guess that will give them more options."

So I made two frittatas, 5 cups of oatmeal, a berry bowl, fresh scones and put out some yogurt and oatmeal toppings.

When I went outside to clear plates from the girls, a few scones, a little oatmeal and half a fritatta had been consumed.

I could eat that by myself. Easy.

What is up with chicks who don't eat???

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. I don't know... but they're not to be trusted.

Also, if you want to freeze some of that stuff, I'll certainly take it off your hands when I get back Saturday PM.

  2. OMG - I don't get the people that don't eat. Maybe it's because food is THE central point of my life but I just don't get it. I don't hang out with those chicks. We also don't get together for walks/climbs; we get together to eat and drink. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Did you eat all the leftovers yourself in one sitting? I would've!

  4. No clue! If I don't eat, I get horrid headaches! Your menu sounds SO yummy!

  5. Are they all super thin? If so, no food probably ensures they stay that way. If not, probably just self-conscious. Some of my friends don't eat because of weird dietary issues, though (celiac disease, etc.). At any rate, sounds like they missed out!!!

  7. What's up with the woman who ordered all that food when she knew her friends don't really eat?

I have a thin sister who only eats enough to survive.
She has been like this her entire life. She can survive on a couple of cups of coffee and half a sandwich a day.
