Question of the Day #631

Last night, I re-read my manuscript. I hadn't looked at in three weeks so I was able to read it the way I'd read a book for fun. I didn't pick at it (too much) and decided that overall, it's a good book. Is it perfect? Of course not. Everything can always be improved. But I'm leaving for the SCBWI conference this morning feeling confident in my work and that's what is important.

What are you feeling confident about?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. YAY! I am so happy you are feeling good about your awesome book AND so excited for you (and jealous of you) to be attending SCBWI. Have an amazing time.

Today I'm just feeling overall confident. After an amazing dance class last night, I played racquetball this morning (and didn't lose all games), had a perfect cup of coffee, dressed in new clothes and drove to work with the music blaring and a big smile on my face.

  2. I'm confident you're going to have a great conference! Jealous of you and all my Illinois-SCBWI friends who are there. Have a blast!

  3. Yay! I'm confident in your work. And in the wine I will drink tonight. And the writing I will do tomorrow. And in my critique group on Monday. And I'm most confident in the agent that is coming my way soon.

  4. I am confident that I do not have an answer for that...although, I DID just answer, foiling my confidence yet again. *sigh*

  5. Oh, S V, I have confidence in you :)

I am feeling confident about my sailing abilites, high winds on Lake Champlain today and we made it!

    :) Good Luck S. :)
