Question of the Day #609

Yesterday I re-arranged scenes, deleted scenes, rewrote scenes, added scenes, cut dialogue and added dialogue. I took breaks to use the bathroom, eat soup, and go for a walk.

Somewhere before 7:00 PM, with my back hunched, my eyes crossed and my butt numb, I walked away from the computer.

Then I went to the supermarket and bought ice cream. Haagen-Dazs White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. I ate 2/3 of the pint while watching Glee reruns and fell asleep.

A heavenly reward if you ask me.

What's your version of a heavenly reward for a hard day's work?

xoxo,
Suzanne

  1. Haagen-Dazs Five Coffee--it's addictive. And if I've got True Blood or Supernatural DVDs, I'll tuck into them for frightful delight. Altho, nuthin ever beats old Buffy episodes.

  2. Something in the realm of food or alcohol. Oh, I can always find a reason to celebrate a day!

  3. My idea of a heavenly reward (as yet to be realized) would be a massage after a hard day's work. At home, of course, at my beck and call. I shouldn't have to drive.

  4. Food and wine. Real food though (not ice cream!) like a Tito's Burrito's hang five shrimp burrito with extra hot sauce or a Marcello's meatball calzone with marinara on the side. Followed by a bottle of wine. Fab.

A massage sounds nice too, Nancy. Good call.

  5. Portillo's chocolate cake. I'm about to indulge!

  6. Yay! I'm so excited about the progress you're making, Suzanne!!! Your agent's going to love it when she sees it.

As far as rewards go, I like Nancy's idea. In reality, though, my usual reward is taking the time to play a game of Sudoku or watch a DVD from the library.

  7. Sounds like you got lots of great work done. Good for you. A heavenly reward for me is chocolate and any good movie.
